Job Description
Tundra Process Solutions is currently seeking a Field Service Technician - Valves based out of our Fort St. John Branch. Do you eat, sleep and breathe valves in various varieties? Do you have 2+ years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry in British Columbia and/or Alberta? Are you a self-starter that has the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the fly? If yes, then you might just be who we're looking for.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
  • Pressure Testing
  • Forklift Operations
  • Field servicing of Ball and Gate Valves
  • On-site and over the phone/email troubleshooting for clients
  • Run lead on the Tundra Service Truck in FSJ - this includes maintenance, upkeep and applicable paperwork
  • Repairs and inspections of Choke and Control Valves
  • In-house repairs to Manifold Valves, Actuators and ANSI Valves
  • Repair of ESD Valves and Components
Requirements
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Valid Forklift Operations Ticket
  • At least 2+ years of industry experience in the Oil and Gas Sector
  • Experience and training in both Hoisting and Rigging
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients via phone or email
  • Experience in pressure testing is preferred
  • Must be local to the Fort St. John area or willing to relocate
