Field Service Technician - Sparwood, BC
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for responding to highway and after-hour calls on a rotational basis. They drive a Kal Tire road service vehicle fitted with all the necessary tools and equipment to provide excellent service to our customers by performing front shop service, off-site fleet service and roadside assistance.
Hours

• Full Time, permanent position
• Over 40 hrs per week
• Rotating, On Call after-hours
• 7:45am-5:00pm Monday to Friday

What kind of person are we looking for?

• You have at least 1 year of roadside service/ tire technician experience (preferred)
• You have the ability to access Teck/ Elk Valley Resources property.
• You are comfortable and reliable working independently.
• You have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the spot.
• You have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
• You are comfortable driving and working at night as needed.
• You’re always safety conscious, wear your required PPE and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
• You’re interested in the automotive industry and like working within a high energy, fast paced team environment.
• You like being active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lb tires around as needed.
