About the Role
The Sales Engineer will provide high-quality demonstrations of the product to prospective customers by working with sales staff and clients to understand the customer’s business and workflows. They will also be responsible for maintaining content used by both sales staff and clients. The Sales Engineer will mentor sales staff on product knowledge and be the go-to resource for all technical requests during the pre-sales phase.
Responsibilities:
- Team with sales to present Gofleet/Zenduit products and services to prospective clients
- Design and deliver live demonstrations of our solutions using examples appropriate to their business and communication needs. Ensure demonstrations align our value proposition, technology, and benefits to the needs of prospective customers.
- Develop and launch new sales assets and collateral. Keep existing sales assets and collateral up-to-date.
- Utilize your intuitive sales acumen skill to engage with customer pain points and showcase Gofleet/Zenduit products and services.
- Be the go-to product expert who can accurately respond to technical product questions from across the sales teams by staying informed on product updates and incorporating the latest functionality into demos, as needed.
- Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions with prospects to gather and document requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Personality traits: enterprising, investigative, conscientiousness, self-starter
- Comfortable multi-tasking and keeping the energy high.
- Fleet management industry knowledge in any vertical is a plus.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to adjust communication style based on customers’ personalities and based on stakeholders’ objectives.
- Prior consulting and sales experience in technology and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication ability, iInterpersonal and listening skills.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience, such as sales, implementation, solution building, or product engineering.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to present effectively and command attention with a variety of stakeholder perspectives.
