Junior Sales Engineer Jobs

[Role Summary]

As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to our enterprise clients. Your primary responsibility will be to address security and technical inquiries, analyze customer problems, and deliver effective solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate with our product engineering and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

This position is based in Vancouver, Canada and will involve working closely with our Sales Engineering team, in a hybrid work environment.

[Responsibilities]

• Assist the sales team by conducting product demonstrations when necessary, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our ProtoPie products.
• Conduct thorough investigations into customer security/technical issues, performing root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and provide appropriate solutions.
• Respond to security/technical requests and questions from enterprise clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with external security consultants and internal operation team to maintain global security certificates.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to escalate complex issues, ensuring that they are resolved efficiently and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Participate in customer calls to help troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, providing expert guidance and support.

[Requirements]

Must

• Demonstrated kindness, empathy, and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Sales Engineer or similar technical sales role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong willingness and passion to continuously learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Plus

• Experience with AWS technologies, including familiarity with cloud-based architectures and services. Possession of the AWS Solutions Architect Associate certificate is highly desired.
• Experience to issue and maintain global security certificates like SOC2 and ISO.

• Remote work is possible.
• Full-time position (during the first 3 months—the probation period, the employee will receive 100% of their salary).
