Our Recruitment & Culture Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in talent acquisition and on-boarding of all new talent at Generis, with a focus on Sales recruitment. Working directly with our Head of Recruitment and Talent, you will learn the full life-cycle of our internal recruitment process. You will gain experience hiring for diverse roles and skill-sets needed within our company such as (but not limited to) sales, event management, marketing, and IT. The Position

80% Sales and Operational Recruitment and Onboarding (focus on Sales)

  • Conduct in-depth candidate screenings via phone, and in-person interviews
  • Provide timely feedback to all candidates
  • Grow and develop candidate database through building candidate relationships with applicants to job postings(inbound) and cold calling/emailing potential candidates(outbound)
  • Assist in regular check-ins with each staff to ensure they are adapting to our onboarding process and they have all the necessary tools for success
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new recruitment opportunities and building on existing relationships
  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment process, with a focus on Sales recruitment (high call/email volume)
  • Write and manage job postings for open positions
  • Assist with the development and administration of Generis Orientation and Onboarding for each new starter
  • Navigating social media and job boards, to creatively map out pools of talent and promote employment opportunities within our company
  • Creating strong relationships with our internal managers, to understand their current and future hiring needs


20% Office & Culture

  • Assisting in maintaining a positive online presence by reviewing and responding to company reviews, and assisting with recruitment-focused social media tools such as Instagram
  • Occasionally assist our Event Operations team with onsite event execution which involves, travelling to events, set up, tear down and execution
  • Assisting with planning and executing internal events and socials
  • General upkeep of office space, ensuring the space is tidy and well stocked
  • Managing ordering of office supplies, office snacks etc


Qualifications

  • Strong presentation skills
  • Post-secondary education is preferred
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years in sales/customer service/recruitment/events
  • Thrives working in a metrics/targets driven environment
  • High level of initiative and ownership

How We Are Keeping Our Staff Safe - Covid19

Working hours: Normal business hours are 8.30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, with a lunch break for one hour between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Location: Office located in Downtown Toronto (Richmond & Bathurst)
