Job Summary:
As the People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent. You will work closely with all levels of the organization to foster a positive work environment, support employee well-being, and enhance the overall employee experience. In this role, you will champion our company's values and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent that aligns with our company culture and values.
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees, providing them with the necessary tools and resources for success.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and conduct interviews.
Employee Engagement and Development:
- Foster a positive work culture through programs such as employee recognition, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
- Support professional development by identifying training needs, coordinating learning opportunities, and promoting career growth within the organization.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and develop strategies to drive employee productivity and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related matters, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations.
Employee Relations and Diversity & Inclusion:
- Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities and fairness across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Stay updated on market trends and benchmark industry standards to ensure competitive offerings.
- Collaborate with the ownership team to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on compensation and benefits matters.
HR Strategy and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Monitor HR metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proven experience (3 years) as a People & Culture Manager or a similar HR leadership role.
