Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our People and OD Team as People and Business Partnering Project Manager. You will be working on transformation projects, change management and engagement plan with a variety of stakeholders.

We offer flexible and agile ways of working.

The role will identify new ways of working, management of operational HR issues; employee relations, performance management and monitoring of HR KPIs, embedding good people management practices. The post holder will therefore play a key role in ensuring effective and efficient management of people, through the provision of highly specialised expert advice to the business and key Programme Directors on a comprehensive range of HR services to the directorates, such as sickness management, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, service redesign and change management, employee relations, equality and diversity. In particular, the post holder will have accountability for the implementation of new services and service change proposals. They will participate in relevant project groups to deliver change, ensure best practice in the management of change, building and championing partnership working with Trade Unions and Professional Organisations at every level of the Directorate.

We're about people and we're interested in your experiences. Maybe you're one of our alumni, perhaps you've worked with people with lived experiences, or you come from a different sector, maybe you're none of those things but have the transferrable skills we need. Great, we are open to talking to you about what we have to offer and how we can work together. We value diversity, inclusivity, agility and a willingness to work together. If you are curious about gathering different perspectives, enjoy working with people and trying to get the best for them, then we would love to see your application.

Initially, the work will focus on supporting Transforming Access to Medicines Programme (TrAMs) To set up a National Medicines Manufacturing Service for Wales, delivered through 3 regional hubs, based in the SE, SW and N Wales. A transformation that moves away from the traditional local approach to a regional and national one the scale of which allows the NHS to capitalise on the emerging benefits of automation, builds capacity and resilience, and from which every patient and clinician in Wales can expect the same high level of service.

At NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership we have high standards and expect everyone to embrace our values of Listening & Learning, Working Together, Taking Responsibility & Innovating, whilst ensuring trust, honesty and compassion are implicit in everything that we do.

We are adaptable, agile and flexible and pride ourselves on being a learning organisation - one where it is safe to make mistakes, where blame is replaced by opportunity, learning and improvement. innovation is built into everything that we do.

We respect and value our people and strive for a culture of compassion and inclusivity. We are a bilingual organisation, and we have a team of Change Champions who advocate ‘This is Our NWSSP’ our principal change programme. Similarly, PROUD is our new staff network welcoming LGBT+ colleagues and allies to come together in a safe space for discussions, event planning and the opportunity to build supportive networks.

We have a comprehensive benefits package where there is something for everyone, supporting health, engagement and wellbeing and includes an Employee Assistance Programme. We have over 30 Mental Health First Aiders and work in partnership with local and national organisations to ensure the well-being and resilience of our people.
