Objective:
The Business Development Manager will primarily be responsible for establishing and growing effective relationships with architects, designers, developers, and home builders. The role involves expanding our brand's influence in the markets and identifying opportunities for collaborations that will drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's objectives.
-Foster and grow relationships with key industry stakeholders, such as architects, designers, developers, and home builders.
-Identify, assess, and pursue potential business opportunities to increase the company's market share and profitability.
-Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Design) to develop and execute bespoke propositions for different stakeholders.
-Represent the companies at industry events and conferences, promoting our products and services.
-Monitor industry trends and competitors, providing insights to the senior management for strategic decision-making.
-Provide consistent feedback and reports to the company management on business development activities and their outcomes.
Qualifications:
-A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
-Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in the furniture design, architecture, home building, or related industries.
-Strong network of industry professionals including architects, designers, developers, and home builders.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Proven ability to negotiate and close deals.
-Understanding of market trends in the design and architecture industry.
-Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment and also requires travel to different locations for meetings, presentations, and industry events.
