We are searching for a skilled individual to join our team as a Mortgage Business Development Manager. Role:
Reporting to the Director of Mortgage Operations, you will serve as the Mortgage Business Development Manager. Your main responsibility will be to establish and nurture strong relationships with mortgage leads, lenders, and referral partners. Through these relationships, you will drive business growth and increase our market share in the mortgage industry. Your focus will be on generating new mortgage opportunities and expanding our network of partners.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers, lenders, and referral partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute effective business development strategies.
- Track and report on business development activities and results.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Meet or exceed business development targets and goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mortgage market.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, services, and market trends.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and software for business development purposes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of successfully expanding business relationships and generating new opportunities.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in business development.
- Mortgage Agent license preferred but to open to discussion based on skill-set,. Not Mortgage Agent role.
Renumeration:
This will start as a commission only, but will be moved to a Salary and commission in the future.
