Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Operations Officer for a 6 month contract in Toronto. There is a high possibility of contract extension.
Pay rate: $21.93/ Hour
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-4PM, in-office Mondays and Tuesdays. Work from Home on Wednesday to Friday, subject to change.
Overtime maybe required
HYBRID role – GTA Contractors who can come onsite as needed.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Officer, your duties will include:

• Setting up terminals and work orders (technology/ devices related).
• Referring or escalating processing or operational issues as needed
• Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for service and productivity
• Performing general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities for own Operations and Business Services function.
• Supporting partners with incoming transactions, validating information as needed to perform adjustments within authority levels
• Reviewing actively internal processes/activities and provide ideas for process improvement
• Completing other request received by the team
• Interacting with partners by responding to requests in an effective and timely manner
• Understanding internal and industry regulations and trends, remain informed of emerging issues and apply appropriate due diligence in adherence with operating policies/procedures
• Providing a broad range of operational support
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery
• Executing transactions accurately, on time and in line with established guidelines/procedures

Qualifications

• Previous work with SLAs
• Working knowledge of word and excel – basic excel (for organizational purposes)
• 5+ years of Data Entry experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• High school diploma
• Organized and set priorities and manage one’s time
• Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information - 5+ years

Nice to have:

• Relevant experience in financial industry – working on payments side
