Based in Vancouver, BC and reporting to the Manager, Finance and Administration, the Office Administrator acts as the face and first point of contact for our office by performing reception and provides the Vancouver team with various forms of administrative support to keep us organized.

provides InSAR services to the North American and Australian markets.
We are a multidisciplinary team with leading-edge knowledge of SAR and InSAR applications. Our
patented radar imagery processing algorithms provide displacement measurements and operational.
mapping solutions that are used worldwide in a variety of sectors, including mining, civil engineering, oil
& gas, and geohazards.
We are a small, close-knit, and collaborative team (we like each other) consisting of diverse individuals from around the world. We are based in downtown Vancouver with many team members working on a hybrid basis. What You’ll be Doing
·Managing the phone call directory system, including answering and directing incoming calls to various members of our team.
·Supporting Sales team with planning and executing conferences. This includes bookings, coordinating booth equipment deliveries for setup/dismantle to ensure the conference proceeds smoothly.
·Supporting onboarding/offboarding activities for team members.
·Maintaining the office calendar in google including imputing and amending team member sick time, vacation days, and office hours.
·Maintaining and coordinating supplies, tidiness and general organization of the office/kitchen while liaising with the building manager and vendors as needed.
·Supporting visitors to Vancouver from our offices in Italy, France and Spain with travel arrangements and accommodations.
·Planning and coordination of events for the Vancouver office team.
·Ensure regular renewals of insurance, business licenses and membership portals.
·Maintaining office petty cash records.

·You have a knack for making things easier for others with your effective planning, organization skills, and proactive nature. When things go wrong, you are quick to troubleshoot and offer solutions. Others would describe you as highly efficient and dependable.
·Hands-on, enthusiastic, flexible, and creative problem solver with the know how to get things done under time constraints. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and get work done, even when at times it’s outside the scope of the job.
·You are friendly, personable, have great telephone manner, and enjoy interacting with others. You have a strong commitment to customers and the team.
·Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively, with good judgment and attention to detail.
·You are technology-savvy. You are well-versed in a variety of administrative tools, and communication platforms and aren’t afraid of IT equipment. You aren’t an IT person necessarily, but you are helpful in troubleshooting technical issues as they arise in collaboration with your colleagues.
Requirements
·Must reside in the greater Vancouver area and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
·Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
·Proficiency in Google Applications such as calendar management and Google Forms.
·At least 1 year of experience working in a professional office environment in an administrative/ event planning capacity.
