Job Description

About This Role
Reporting to the Medical Director, the Medical Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing operational and administrative support to the Medical Affairs team. This role location is designated as on campus.
What You’ll Do
  • Expense reimbursement
  • Grants and Sponsorships
  • Support and provide documentation for Medical Affairs teams using relevant Biogen systems for
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Provide logistical support for internal/external Medical Affairs and Country Leadership Team meetings
  • Finance
  • External Stakeholder Engagements
  • Preparing documents/presentations/spreadsheets
  • Medical Research (e.g IITs, SRAs, etc.)
  • Administrative support for Medical Director, the General Manager, or other senior leaders, as required:
  • Provide logistical support for congress activities (planning meetings, collection briefs, etc.)
  • Calendar management
  • Following up with team members on status updates and action items
  • Provide back up for other coordinators and administrative personnel, when required.
  • Travel arrangement
  • Other duties as required.
  • Meeting catering, room set-up/take down
  • Materials Review (promotional and non-promotional)
  • Contracting
  • Archive data and documents in compliance with Biogen SOPs
Who You Are
You are passionate about making a difference and have demonstrated capability for interdisciplinary/team work as well as ability to work independently and productively. You are known for being accountable and someone that has a strong detail orientation and problem solving capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar position
  • University degree strongly preferred
  • Proficient computer skills with the Microsoft suite of products, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in French is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility and responsiveness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Discretion and autonomy
  • Demonstrated capability for interdisciplinary/team work as well as ability to work
  • Organization and rigor in project management
  • Ability to multi-task and work with competing priorities without losing the detail
  • Ability to work across multiple digital platforms and early adoption of new systems/applications.
  • Experience with customer event management and conference coordination considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance framework for Medical Affairs (e.g. OLAs, accredited education, unsolicited sponsorships, etc.).
  • Strong detail orientation and problem-solving capabilities
Work Location Designation for Role:
  • Office based.
