Position Summary


We are looking for talent to join our NEW Marketing Professional Program this coming spring! This is your opportunity to gain valuable experience, grow in a vibrant global business environment and achieve your career aspirations.


Our Marketing Professional program is a full-time, permanent opportunity, with a mandatory 18-month commitment to the rotational program. This program will give you an opportunity to focus on Marketing, specifically Brand Marketing and Product Commercialization. The program will help build your business acumen, leadership capabilities and support your development and long term success at Nestlé. Throughout the program you will have access to continual support and learning opportunities. With a sound platform of business knowledge, experience and well-developed networks, you will be ready to move into the business.


The Marketing Specialist position will be based at our North York location reporting into Line Managers within Marketing and Product Commercialization. The experiences you will gain will provide the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake an Assistant Marketing Manager role at the end of the program.


A day in the life of a Marketing Specialist:


As a Marketing Specialist, you will be assisting in the execution of marketing activities in line with brand plans. You will support the team on understanding brand performance and analyzing brand health metrics.


You will also:
  • Building and managing the project schedule, defining the critical path, tracking activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines and approvals
  • Coordinating and facilitating project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, lessons learned, post launch reviews and additional meetings as required
  • Contribute to the efforts of the team to deliver against team targets and initiatives
  • Perform assignments (daily tasks or project based) in an efficient, effective, and timely manner
  • Leading the communication of project scope, objectives, key success criteria and expectations
  • Create action plans and identify timelines to successfully execute all tasks assigned by team/manager
  • Analyze data and simplify data for visual storytelling and problem solve with issues.
  • Support Youth Initiative Activities such as University Information Days, mentor/buddy to University student, intern, other associates
  • Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of project risk mitigation plans
  • Providing visibility and transparency to project status to cross functional team members, generating and communicating status reports, and escalating critical issues to Category Program Manager and Category Leadership Team as required
  • Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-time launch and flawless execution of I&R projects with low to medium complexity from idea to close (i.e. line extensions, innovations/renovations with minimal investment, fast adapts). Activities include:
  • Undertake required training and development to ensure successful completion of assignments
