New Grad Rotational Program – Investment Management

We are currently hiring students in their final year of study looking for opportunities after graduation. The New Grad Rotational Program offers students the opportunity to complete four rotations over a two-year period with the opportunity to be placed full-time after completion. The participants will develop a strong understanding of the business’s big picture and how each department contributes to the success of the organization.

Located in our Toronto office, the Investment Management stream will provide exposure to investment analysis and portfolio management strategies. In addition, the program will provide additional opportunities to develop leadership skills and contribute to various project initiatives. The program provides networking opportunities and continuous feedback and coaching.

Group rotations within the Investment Management stream will be within Fixed Income, North American Equities, Portfolio Solutions, and IVY Team.

The responsibilities will vary depending on the department’s needs; however, will include the following:

• Researching, analyzing, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior management
• Networking and seeking feedback
• Analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Contributing to various project initiatives that support our business strategies
• Strong financial knowledge with the ability to pitch investment ideas and complete financial models
• Developing skills in portfolio analysis and management

• Data analytics; Statistics and excel skills
• Graduating in April 2024 in a related field (BCom, BA, BSc, etc.)
• Financial modeling and business analysis skills and expertise
• Curiosity, research, and analytical skills
• Critical thinking in a business context
• Coding skills (Python)
• Excellent interpersonal, judgment & decision-making skills
• Ability to self-motivate and prioritize time-sensitive deadlines
• Passionate about a career in the Financial Industry
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Creativity and innovation
