Adex Personnel is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join one of its partners, leader in digital strategy and transformation.
In this position, you will be working on a client project in the transportation sector.
You will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling new and existing employees to attend training at either the Winnipeg or Homewood Campus. It includes ordering flights, booking hotels and transportation, sending welcome letters, and handling employee complaints regarding their training. This is an on-site position at the Winnipeg Campus. (Winnipeg or Homewood)
Responsibilities :
Responsibility 1
1. Assist the logistics team in booking flights, sending emails, and coordinating daily campus requirements.
2. Manage and oversee campus communications – internal and external.
3. Handle student issues as they arise.
4. Forecast, plan, schedule, and confirm all arrangements for Transportation, Mechanical, and Engineering Employees.
Responsibility 2
1. Reschedule trainees as required.
2. Work with the functional managers for Transportation, Mechanical, and Engineering to determine their training needs.
3. Work in conjunction with the learning management department to communicate all required information.
Responsibility 3
1. Work directly with other company departments regarding their training requirements.
2. Provide coverage for the administrative assistant.
3. Assist in managing campus stock.
4. Assist with data input into the learning management system.
5. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the business manager.
Requirements:
Skills / Functional Knowledge
- Proficient in Cornerstone, Cornerstone Learning Specialist Certificate considered an asset*
- Able to make quick decisions and work independently
- Must be able to calmly and effectively handle a demanding workload with changing and conflicting priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Education / Certification / Experience
- Excellent oral and written skills in English. French is an asset*
- Very comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and the ability to do simple data manipulations.
- High school diploma
- Excellent customer focus and strong professional acumen
- 1-3 years experience working in learning management, CSOD experience is an asset*
