Ontario Line South
Our team is mobilizing its design and construction crews, with major works to commence in 2023. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.
The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
What is the project?
  • Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown.
  • A six-kilometre tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River)
  • Stations:
  • One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station
  • Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations

  • Up to 57,000 more jobs will be accessible by transit (in 45 minutes or less) for Toronto residents

The Administrator will fulfill administrative duties in the contract management department.
They will support the teams from both the contract management and variations / changes teams.
What you will undertake:
  • Liaising with different departments to ensure Work Submittals are on time, and
  • Preparing the meeting minutes (two - three times a week) and following-up the diffusion process
  • Providing any further administrative support to the team.
  • Following-up specific distribution workflows to the differing project department,
  • Drafting day-to-day internal memos / communications,
  • Scheduling meetings,
  • Updating the commercial and variation trackers, updating the folders,
  • Liaising with doc control,
Qualifications
What do we ask for?
  • Good time management skills.
  • Previous experience in construction (co-op / summer work placements) is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Understanding of P3 construction projects and the ability to work within a fixed budget.
  • Excellent organization, documentation and planning skills.
  • Be flexible in the day-to-day activities, and willing to support other teams when needed.
  • Excellent excel spreadsheet and word processing skills.
  • Detail orientated and has a great attention to detail.
  • Good planning and communication skills.
