Logistics And Distribution Manager

Kotn is looking for a Logistics & Distribution Manager to join its growing ecommerce and retail logistics operations, working with our partners to define and challenge our best practices, making sure we remain cost effective while delivering exceptional customer experience. This is a pivotal role in for supporting ecommerce reach and brick-and-mortar store network. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in working with 3PLs, cross-border and international fulfillment, inbound logistics and retail operations.

What you’ll be working on:

• Own the duty drawback process, ensure timely reimbursement of applicable duties
• Ensure customs compliance and clearance for all product categories (apparel, home, hard goods)
• Control and reduce logistics and distribution costs while maintaining efficiency and delivery commitments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Kotn’s network of 3PL and carrier partners.
• Ensure SLA compliance and negotiate competitive rates with 3PLs and carrier partners on an ongoing basis
• Own the Inventory & Order Management System/ERP systems
• Oversee Inventory control including but not limited to daily, weekly and monthly inventory reconciliations and reporting.
• Manage and develop a high-performing logistics team
• Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising & Planning, Production, Customer Service, Retail teams to deliver best in class omni-channel solutions

Additional Requirements:

• Exceptional communication and analytical skills
• Experience in MS Office, Google suite, IMS/WMS or ERP systems preferred
• Flexibility, proactiveness and initiative
• Experience in small parcel/courier as well as bulk airfreight and seafreight
• Experience with cross-border logistics
• Availability to travel when required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management (MBA is an asset)
• Alignment with the company’s ethos considered a requirement for this department
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a logistics management position in an apparel retail environment
