Our client located in Hawksbury is actively looking for a Logistics Coordinator to handle all shipments and movement of products. Dealing with freight forwarders / carrier companies, handling customs duties, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Create packing lists and update shipment information in database
• Ensure daily orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner
• Interact with third party logistics service providers
• Assist with process improvement and cost saving initiatives
• Organize files both manually and electronically
• Arranging external carriers
• Work with custom program for invoicing and credits
• Review bills, invoices and purchase orders
• Maintain communication with warehouse staff to ensure proper working order
• Audit freight cost and documentation
• Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Prepare paperwork and customs documentation
• Trace, track and expedite purchase processes

Qualifications

• Flexible, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment with high-volume;
• Accountable for results, strives to meet and exceed expectations;
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Self-starter with good judgment and can proactively manage up where appropriate
• Good computer knowledge and skilled in Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency in Excel;
• Detail-oriented, results-driven and a team player;
