Well, what about the team?


HR Operations is a key function within our business, as they are responsible for the employee life cycle, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, employee data manager, benefits administration and HR compliance – in addition they are heavily involved in HR upcoming/ongoing HR work streams such as the BET launch and ASR 2023.


The primary objective of HR Operations is to ensure we remain legally compliant and up to date with all our processes (e.g right to works & GDPR)


This role will focus on supporting the business by managing the shared HR inbox, supporting Payroll to ensure all North American employees are paid each month (including any changes to benefits), confirming job changes to employees with amendments to their contract of employment, drafting and issuing of contract of employment, following SOX processes and gathering correct documentation and escalating information as and when required to the HR Operations manager.


This role will also assist with licensing our employees in various US states and Canadian provinces. This person will work closely with our HR Team, Talent Acquisition, Business Leaders, and outside counsel to ensure licensing compliance.


So, what will you be doing?


  • Facilitating UK new starter inductions (either online or face to face) alongside other HR Operations Co-ordinators
  • Updating internal databases such as family friendly leave and contractors
  • Managing all HR files in line with GDPR/legislative standards
  • Processing terminations on our HRIS
  • Supporting the HR Operations Manager with 1st & 2nd line HR activities such as right to work/visa administration
  • Acting as a local data custodian, ensuring all data is accurate and kept up to date within the HR System
  • Working with and support HR Business Partners and line managers on HR operational tasks as required
  • Managing the shared HR inbox, expenses and POs
  • Working closely with the Reward team to co-ordinate UK payroll on a monthly basis
  • Processing new starter activities; drafting employment contracts, conducting right to work checks in line with legal requirements, creating employee records on our HRIS
  • Processing and administering changes of employment
  • Administering UK employee benefits and other company perks including processing monthly joiners and leaver, checking and processing invoices, updating trackers, communicating with external benefit providers and assisting the launch of new UK benefits


And what are we looking for?


  • Administration skills previously gained in an HR environment
  • Strong communication skills to support our employees and line managers in a remote way
  • Excellent IT capabilities spanning MS Office (particularly Outlook, Word and Excel), and capacity to swiftly pick up bespoke IT systems and tools
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise activity to deliver required outcomes within a busy and fast-moving environment
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly confidential
  • Proven track record in the delivery of accurate data management to tight timescales
  • A positive and collegiate attitude, with the ability to adapt swiftly and a willingness to undertake challenging tasks to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
