Overview:
We are looking for a HR and Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for various activities relating to HR and office administration for Horizons ETFs, supporting both the HR and finance department.Integrity, professionalism and strong attention to detail are crucial for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage various HR research projects and other ad hoc HR project/assignments as required
- Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams for promotional materials tracking and shipping requirements
- Provide HR support including liaising with employees and coordinating appropriate escalation of matters, recruiting administration, assistance with onboarding/off-boarding, attendance tracking, recordkeeping and reconciliation related to group benefits and RRSP programs
- Execute office operations, including supplies, equipment management and maintenance
- Manage employee engagement initiatives – lunch and learn meetings, Office Vibe feedback, all-staff activities
- Support Safety Committee including policy enforcement and fire warden duties
- Coordinate with Senior Management for meeting support (in-person and virtual) and host Employee Advisory Committee meetings
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Highly organized and flexible
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Detail oriented and works with high degree of accuracy
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management is recommended
