We’re looking for a Group Administrative Manager & Executive Assistant to join a successful mining company in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia.
Our client is a parent company to a shared services model who are successful and growing! The Group Administrative Manager & Executive Assistant is a newly designed role and responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the executive management team and office management.
Group Administrative Manager and Executive Assistant responsibilities:
- Drafts, updates and maintains legal contacts such as service/shareholder/purchase/sale and settlement agreements
- Executive support to a corporate partner through coordination of international travel and administrative tasks
- Facilitates, office and vendor management
- Coordinates and attends meetings with staff, clients, and other stakeholders, taking and distributing minutes
- Regulatory and risk management
- Helps with research projects and other needed administrative tasks
- Assists in the preparation of legal documents and contracts
- Develops, implements and enforces HSE programs
- Governance of corporate records, resolutions, policies as well as legal and financial deliverables such as corporate filings and financier documentation
The successful candidate has:
- Experience within larger organizations is an asset
- Extremely organized, high attention to detail, able to work independently and a self-starter mindset is a must
- 5+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to an entrepreneur or president of a company in private industry of engineering, energy, construction or mining
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possesses an open mind and positive attitude
- Proven abilities in time management, problem solving, organization, and handling confidential information with discretion
- Able to work in a dog friendly office
- Personally experienced in international travel and able to speak multiple languages, fluent in English, is an asset
- Experience in working with legal documents and office management is a must
- Highly tech savvy, advanced user of Microsoft Office programs, and SharePoint
Compensation and benefits:
- Work from home flexibility
- The discussed salary range is $80,000– $100,000 depending on experience

- Comprehensive benefits package, employer paid
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
- Discretionary bonus
- 3 weeks vacation and office closure between Christmas and New Years
