This highly reputable public sector organization is seeking an Executive Legal Assistant to provide effective and efficient day-to-day operational support to the Executive Team. This well-established organization plays a crucial role in managing parking services in downtown Toronto. The position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategy and success of the organization.
Your new role
As the Executive Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support functions and coordinating day-to-day operations and related projects. You will provide executive-level administrative, legal, technical, and operational support to the Executive Team in a fast-paced environment. This includes conducting research, preparing board reports, handling information requests, managing calendars, drafting correspondence, and maintaining corporate records and systems. Your role will involve interacting regularly with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience providing executive-level administrative support services, including legal support. A post-secondary education is required, and a diploma in a Legal Secretariat program or a university degree/college diploma related to business administration is preferred. You should have excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information are crucial.
