Job Description

Our client, a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome financial challenges, is actively looking for an Executive Assistant I to join their team on a hybrid model in their Toronto, ON, Canada office!


*** 3 days onsite (Tues/Wed/Thurs) ***


*** This begins as a 12-month contract with an opportunity to extend or convert at any time ***


Responsibilities

  • Communicates clearly at multiple levels and with diverse audiences
  • Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the clerical, administrative function, research, and management roles.
  • Support administrative duties for 3 Directors
  • Responsible for schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive to others.
  • Provides support and assistance to executives that ensure effective use of time and productive interactions with staff and the public.
  • Full comprehension of company's operation and procedures.
  • Uses discretion and judgement and knowledge of organization to facilitate the executive's activities.
  • May also be responsible for training and supervising lower level clerical staff.
  • Event planning to include support for large meetings, off-sites and teambuilding events
  • Handles confidential information and communications.


Desired Skills And Experience

  • Fundamental project management experience, including development of basic project plans and successful execution
  • Proven experience working in a fast-pace environment while providing superior service levels
  • Exercises excellent judgment within areas of responsibility Handles multiple tasks, switches priorities and focus as needed
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills Experience managing high volumes of emails and direct messages
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience working in a software organization a plus
  • Must be proactive, take ownership, respond quickly, and have excellent follow through skills
  • Proficient in a suite of standard office software
  • Proactive & creates a positive experience for others
