A Taste of the Job- Outcomes from the Job
- Lead on site sampling strategy, forecasting, execution, and analysis, focusing on driving cost effective sample to full size conversion.
- Maintain visibility of SEO reports and align with actions to resolve errors
- Lead newsletter strategy execution in Klaviyo to meet sales and other established KPIs including list growth, open rate, etc.
- Take lead in recommending additional enhancements to improve data available for future learnings as well as customer experience.
- Devise and implement the eCommerce search strategy for (Paid Search, Shopping & SEO)
- Continuously analyze site performance and customer behavior data in Google Analytics, GA4, Shopify and other platforms to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing data-driven optimizations and enhancements.
- Provide topline weekly business insights and recurring monthly sales and KPI performance reviews. Work with team to leverage key selling trends and drive quick action to help improve results.
- Partner with internal planning and our warehouse logistics teams to minimize inventory shipments.
- Lead overall DTC strategy, planning and execution for US & CA including digital sales, newsletter sales and social shopping.
- Lead partnership with our Merchant of Record partner. Hold regular check ins, be the point of contact if sales are not on track, errors arise, and other tasks as required and as related to the D2C operations.
Path for Success- Qualifications and Experience
Education/Experience
- Clear expertise understanding of the key tenets of eCommerce and digital merchandising.
- Undergraduate degree, preferably with a Marketing or Business background
- Record of delivering eCom growth, including 5-7+ years of eCom experience.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to lead a scaled business- including financial foresight with areas like profit and revenue drivers.
- Working collaborative to support new product launch campaigns on digital platforms.
- Experience leading campaigns and new initiatives on Shopify.
- Experience with CPG brands.
- Proficient understanding of Shopify e-commerce 3+ years.
Skills
- Experience with 3rd party apps including Shopify, Klayvio, Recharge, Google Analytics, GA4, HotJar, Asana and Salsify.
- Proactive mindset. Can identify trends and potential issues down the road.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Ability to translate internal vision to the online channel and execute strategies that lead the company consistently towards that vision.

- Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and ability to effectively prioritize and manage timelines.
- Must have a customer-centric perspective, passion for owning and driving a business end-to-end, willingness to innovate in response to market conditions and trends, and not be afraid to take risk.
- Strong skills in strategy and planning, budget, and P&L management, merchandising, and digital marketing.
- Interest in food.
- Experience in working collaboratively with cross department to educate, influence and successfully launch digital and omni-channel programs.
