Description

Riipen is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our team!

As a Content Marketing Specialist on the Content Team, you'll primarily support multi-channel content creation for Riipen's employer audience, including social posts and graphics, downloadable content, video concept (production optional), landing pages, marketing emails, and sales collateral while ensuring all content has a consistent brand identity and tone of voice.

This role is fully remote and it can be located anywhere in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage social engagement activities (i.e. surveys, events, contests) with the Riipen community and relevant audiences
• Monitor, measure, and report on campaign performance, with recommendations for optimizing results
• Maintain and update the content calendar with key campaign dates, external/partner announcements, brand messaging opportunities (i.e. celebrations, milestones)
• Design Riipen's social media calendar; managing and optimizing social media channels with clearly defined purpose and strategy for each audience; report on social channel growth, engagement, and conversion
• Collaborate with internal teams (CS, sales, accounts, leadership) to produce relevant content based on their audiences and goals
• Curate relevant editorial content for Riipen's social media, newsletters, and website
• Research industry-relevant keywords and hashtags to optimize website and social reach; work with SEO tools and best practices in collaboration with Outbound Marketing Team
• Work in close alignment with Riipen's employer marketing team, creating Riipen's employer focused content calendar focused on engaging long-form content in collaboration with clients, internal teams, and leadership that reflect Riipen's positioning as a mission-driven, industry-leading education technology product (i.e. blog posts, case studies, thought leadership pieces, presentation decks, etc.)

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Great Candidates Will Have...

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, SEO, copywriting, content marketing, communications, or related field
• Experience in a B2B marketing, agency environment, tech startup (EdTech, HRTech) or equivalent highly preferred
• Excellent communications and time management skills
• Eye for design and working knowledge of graphic design tools (i.e. Canva, Photoshop) preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with external and internal stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Experience in writing web copy and SEO driven content; Webflow experience is a plus

• 2+ years of experience in growth-focused social media management, with expert knowledge of LinkedIn and Twitter; familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube a bonus
• Familiarity with task management software such as Asana
