Position Title: Director of the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship

Salary: Min $104,703 - Max $157,055
What You Will Do
The Director of the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) is accountable for ensuring that Longo CfE operations lead to the mobilization of fresh ideas, new technologies, and entrepreneurial training while at the same time preparing Humber students and graduates gain entrepreneurial thinking skills. The Director is responsible for leveraging existing and creating new internal and external strategic networks and partnerships, which lead to the development, implementation, and delivery of a wide range of entrepreneurial projects and activities.
The Director is responsible for strategic planning, organizing, and directing all phases of the Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship programs, including but not limited to BMO Launch Me, Longo Family programs, and the Innovate and Create Entrepreneurship program. In addition to program and staff management, the Director is responsible for fiscal management, budgeting, and marketing.
The Director works with Humber's team of academic leaders to create an environment that supports interdisciplinary teaching and learning activity; and to ensure that the Longo CfE activity aligns with and supports the achievement of the program curriculum and experiential learning outcomes. Leveraging internal and external partnerships, the Director ensures that all Longo CfE activities connect students, industry/community, and Humber staff in support of entrepreneurship. Work with key internal and external stakeholders (legal and risk) to ensure compliance and appropriate alignment with broader Humber strategies.

What You Bring To The Role
Education
Masters of Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience in business development with small and medium enterprises (SMEs), proposal writing, research, skills development and experiential learning. Entrepreneurial experience is required, managing incubators, accelerators, or local business board of trades.
Skills
Project management skills are an asset.
