Your mission
As Director of Customer Solutions, you will assume full profit and loss responsibility for every product and solution within your mandate. You will grow our Underground Tunneling organization to ensure we have the correct products on the market at the right time and that they are technically and commercially best-in-class. In addition, you will be responsible for optimizing costs, lead times, and ensuring compliance with our global footprint strategy.
You will work closely with the Operational Excellence organization, as well as Customer Centers and Production Centers, to ensure appropriate processes and system optimization are in place to drive sustainable improvements.
Your profile
To be successful, you should have a minimum of ten years of experience in developing and running a business within underground civil construction industry. You have experience working in interdisciplinary, cross-functional, and global teams and successfully designing and driving change within an organization. Your previous experience includes managing different channel types, managing cost or budget, and developing technologies. M&A experience is an asset, as is direct sales or commercial experience.
As an entrepreneurial leader, you should possess solid business management skills, creative problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to think beyond how things have been done optimize for benefit. You should be an excellent negotiator, able to see the big picture, and comfortable managing and embedding significant change within a large, global organization. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
Location and travel
This is a global position with flexible location in any part of the world where Epiroc is represented. Some travel is required.
