Deskside Technician - Calgary

Coreio is looking for a Deskside Technician to join our Calgary, team for a 3 month contract position (with potential for extension). The individual will be required to be onsite daily.

We are looking for individuals who can interact, collaborate, and address end users/clients with the highest standard of professionalism and customer service.

Key Accountabilities

• Imaging and preparing hardware for deployment to users working on the premises and for users preparing to work from home.
• Involve administrative work to track asset deployments and partnering with others to achieve that goal.
• Deliver technical support services in a courteous and responsive manner.
• Assisting users in a call center environment (mixed onsite and remote) with resolving incidents related to desktop and laptop computers and with their smartphones.
• Assisting users with learning new technology, including some users with adaptive technology solutions.

Requirements/ Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• CompTIA A+ and Windows 10 certification highly preferred.
• Able to lift boxes up to 15 kilograms/33 pounds.
• Experience working with laptops and both Windows 10 operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail, tracking progress and documentation.
• Ability to learn and adapt changes.
• 1 - 2 years of work-related experience
