Summary:

The Project Manager (Hydrogen) oversees the execution of customer projects for this rapidly growing segment of the Company. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to act as a key contribution and make a significant impact to the company’s aggressive growth plan and is ideal for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is solution oriented and looking to put their fingerprint on a market leading company. This position is based in the Houston or Calgary office reports to the VP of Hydrogen with direction from the Sr. Project Manager.

Schedule:

• This position holds normal business hours, with frequent travel to the US and throughout Canada, to Certarus hubs and client locations.
• We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration.

:

• Coordinate with HSE, Engineering, Operations, and Logistics teams for safe and successful execution for hydrogen blending and supply projects.
• Plan and manage multi-faceted, complex projects for the Hydrogen Business Unit; first point of contact for the projects, stakeholders and clients.
• Manage and coordinate equipment upgrades in manufacturing centers, maintenance shops, and field locations across the US and Canada.
• Present clear project timeline, schedule, and budget update reports to executive management on request.
• Stay up to date with relevant North American hydrogen trends, market and research events.
• Travel expected up to 20% of the time.
• Promote a proactive and positive safety culture within Certarus and its suppliers.
• Oversee project financials in terms of established performance goals and zero project variance.

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience managing projects in a service, EPC or manufacturing environment.
• A self starter with relentless habits in line with Certarus core values.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish long lasting relationships with internal and external customers.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Previous engineering experience managing project in a service, EPC or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in industrial gas industry is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• Team player with problem solving ability, business acumen, effective time management and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidate must have the legal right to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
• Strong risk identification and mitigation methodology.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with excellent organizational skills.
