5+ years of business development experience for industrial hydrogen

Strong knowledge of hydrogen applications in industrial engineering

Must have demonstrated experience in managing electrical and control system design from conception to implementation

Experience with hydrogen, battery supply chains, locomotives and/or industrial equipment an asset;

Practical hands-on experience (automotive repair, robotics, renovation) an asset

Strong Project Management skills and methods with ample experience

IT skills as per Responsibilities and Experience sections

Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

PC Skills – advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Project

Conduct regular meetings with local staff to transfer knowledge and improve the ability of local teams to assist with future projects

Manage and report on related budgets

Support Corporate Finance and Risk Management teams to understand market-related risk exposures at an enterprise level.

3+ years of investment banking, private equity, project finance, management consulting, preferably with a background in power and renewable, or infrastructure.

Experience in conducting market analysis and maintaining competitive intelligence. Knowledge on hydrogen policies and renewable credits is considered as an asset.

Develop and manage project-level financial models for valuation, risk assessment, and cash flow evaluation purposes.

Support various reporting and administrative requirements as required.

Proficiency in a second language and international experience would be an asset.

Leads, manages, and strategically directs the project management department activities for assigned functional areas.

Directs the assessment of business needs, Project Manager capabilities and available project budgets.

Develops, leads, and motivates project management staff; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.

Significant experience, including managerial and budgetary experience, required.

Project Management Director – Hydrogen Technologies- Americas

Prior experience working on EPC environment, either as part of EPC company or extensively interfacing with one would be a plus.

Responsible for green-fielding new project portfolios under direction from management.

Monitor and manage key policy developments that impact projects, involvement with trade associations.

Problem solver: Your critical thinking skills allow you to make sound decisions and assimilate large volumes of information.

8+ years of direct experience in hydrogen and/or renewable project development or construction.

Previous experience with projects in Nova Scotia and/or Ontario is considered a strong asset.

Strong understanding and experience in the hydrogen or renewable project development process
