About Our Client
Our client is a leading organization operating in the Mining/Metals/Engineering sector.

• Leading the accounting and financial teams across the entire Operating Company to ensure the financial reporting and accounting processes are sound, accurate and uniform across projects and locations
• Manage banks and other capital providers
• Analyzing Operating Company financials for trends; designing and presenting a streamlined management reporting package that highlights trends, opportunities and issues
• Supporting the operations leadership team by providing effective solutions and timely reporting of business metrics to help them increase overall clarity and transparency of productivity and profitability
• Managing the Operating Company's capital expenditure budget to ensure compliance within approved thresholds
• Providing financial input on critical strategic decision-making issues affecting the organization and developing strategies to help steer the company toward its goals
• Assists interview of all Company bids, reviewing and approving all financial components of potential contracts
• Developing and implementing an efficient and cost-effective corporate capital structure and monitoring debt covenants to ensure compliance

The Successful Applicant

• Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic thinking
• Able to travel when required
• CPA or MBA required
• 8-15 years of experience in finance & accounting
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Industry experience in Mining / Engineering / Manufacturing / Construction is preferred
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
