The Caregiver Role

Become a friend, and companion, by building trusting, meaningful relationships with our clients and their families, while providing support to maintain client independence and increase quality of life. Support includes:

• Light housekeeping
• Meaningful engagement and support to increase activity and exercise
• Assistance with other activities of daily living as required
• Assisting with groceries, meal planning and cooking
• Some personal care (bathing, toileting & personal hygiene)
• Taking clients on outings (as appropriate) and helping with errands

Mandatory Minimum Technical Qualifications

• Already legally authorized to work in Canada
• Live in Winnipeg or an immediately surrounding community
• Full Canadian issued driver's license and consistent access to a reliable, insured vehicle
• Clear background check and positive professional references
• Experience providing care to adults (preferably seniors)
