Technical Product Owner (Audio) - Frostbite

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Frostbite Audio team is actively recruiting for a Technical Product Owner to help create the next generation of audio technology that enables amazing player experiences in EA’s biggest games. You'll help identify and prioritize product features and improvements that maximize business impact. Key Responsibilities

• Articulate the vision for the audio engine clearly to your community and development team alike
• Understand the landscape of audio technology in the games industry and collaborate with EA’s community of audio artists to identify opportunities and define a vision for the audio engine
• Prioritize features for the audio engine that will have the biggest impact, and liaise with the engineering team to clarify the criteria for success
• Partner with the UX design team and development team to ensure feature briefs are understood and actioned according to agreed process and constraints
• Gather customer feedback and perform data-driven research to improve all aspects of the audio engine
• Work with the Product Manager and your community to identify new features, improvements, and capabilities for the audio engine
• Take responsibility for KPIs and other success criteria, and report on them to the Product Manager

Desirable Skills and Experience

• 3+ years experience in a product role or similar with direct involvement in the use and/or development of audio tools and technology within the games industry
• Familiarity with UX design principles
• Able to think, write and speak clearly, and can achieve balance between the big picture and the small details
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
• 2+ years experience managing all aspects of a successful project throughout its lifecycle
