Description


Ring is looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be working cross functionally to gain insights, define requirements, and develop solutions to support the growth of Ring products. This includes working closely with engineers, support, and our business partners to maintain and support our existing products and guide new products to launch. You will be the point of contact for improvement initiatives for our subscribers and customer support team while leading and executing process changes.

  • Facilitate alignment across the subscription, customer service, engineering, legal, marketing, and content teams for existing and new subscriptions.
  • Effectively use data and metrics to back up assumptions, business value, and identify customer pain points.
  • Regularly identify insights and form hypotheses to validate through research.
  • Working with stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity and agree upon requirements
  • Take high level direction and turn a strategic plan into a tactical plan.
  • Provide cross-functional reporting insights into customer and support data.
  • Manage the day-to-day product owner tasks of ticket writing, product acceptance, prioritization and backlog grooming.
  • Identify key performance indicators, strive for improvement, and communicate progress.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs for customer experience, performance and features.

Basic Qualifications


  • 2+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
  • Experience in Stakeholder management: must be able to communicate with all levels, from PR to community support, engineering, BI, data management, legal, C-levels, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product


Preferred Qualifications


  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated examples of leading a project from start to completion in a high growth environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Demonstrated examples of setting, managing and improving business KPIs
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Willing to learn new skills, different areas of the business, how the product fits into the bigger picture, etc.
