What You Will Be Doing

Tangerine is looking for a passionate and strategically minded digital product owner to lead the evolution of our digital authentication & login experiences.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Head of Digital Product & Experience, you will act as a bridge between various areas of the business and our delivery and development teams to evolve and deliver on the vision and strategy for our Login & Authentication portfolio. Day to day you’ll work with an agile team in close collaboration with developers, UX designers, solutions architects, QA engineers and other experts to deliver actionable backlog deliverables and follow them through to completion in order to deliver high-quality software and seamless digital client experiences.

• Play a leadership role in the delivery teams you are leading to ensure that high quality and creative solutions are implemented for challenging problems
• Build and maintain strong business acumen and stay abreast in industry trends and innovations
• Engage and partner with key stakeholders to support common understanding and vision across the organization
• Communicate with the business stakeholders and take responsibility for building “the right thing”
• Responsible for KPIs and digital product metrics to inform the team’s direction
• Lead cross-functional teams to conceptualize, define and implement new features

• Apply incremental delivery principles, drive the delivery of business value, communicate progress, elicit feedback and enable stakeholder reviews for validation in the process
• Develop the vision and roadmap for owned areas, and create/maintain a detailed product backlog
• Facilitate creative problem solving on a day-to-day basis no matter the circumstances, working closely with development on implementation challenges, turning ambiguity into clarity in a fast-paced environment

• Working knowledge of software, Information Technology, mobile application development is an asset.
• P&L management
• Technology and design focus with a strong understanding of the development process, creative process and overall UX/UI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate on a broad spectrum (from deep technical discussions to high level executive vision).
• Strong data driven approach, utilizing key metrics and evidence in decision making.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner designation
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to enable and motivate a cross-functional team
