Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Mobile Licensing, the Clerk will provide administrative support and be responsible for the duties as outlined below:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to mobile licensing overnight staff
- Provide backup support to other administrative staff.
- Input time & labour
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Answer phones, emails and direct or respond to inquires as needed.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, public and Councillors on sectional matters.
- Maintain applicable business unit records.
- Input service requests into Infor
- Manage outlook emails and calendars. P r ocess in v oices using Infor and SA P .
- Create correspondences, documents, reports, presentations, agendas and minutes as required.
Skills And Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint);
- Excellent administrative, planning, organizational, interpersonal skills and time management;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- General knowledge of by-laws would be an asset;
- Active listening skills;
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential;
- Secondary school education with a minimum of three years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent related experience and education;
- Excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in grammar and spelling along with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Flexible in adapting to changing workloads;
