ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Accerta is seeking a full-time, permanent Account Service Representative. We require a professional, positive, and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills to join our hardworking team. Become a team member and see what makes Accerta a great place to work! The Account Service Representative will report to the Supervisor, Contact Centre.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Other duties as assigned.
• Assist with the adjudication system testing to ensure the accurate payment of dental claims and predeterminations.
• Maintain and protect the confidentiality and privacy of all information.
• Contact external parties to obtain additional or missing information.
• Enter and adjudicate applications, claims, and predeterminations.
• Maintain eligibility database where necessary.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions.
• Process corrections for various work items

QUALIFICATIONS

• Accurate data processing ability; 10,000 to 12,000 keystrokes per hour an asset
• Familiarity with computers and knowledge of dental procedure codes.
• Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to process a high volume of work items in a fast-paced environment accurately and efficiently.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent required.
• Secondary Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• The ability to adapt to changing technology, clients, and processes.
• Benefit and or insurance processing background is an asset.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with all levels of staff.
