Volunteer Coordinator/Hr Assistant

Today, the Low Entropy Foundation offers a wide variety of free services for adults, youth, and children to empower personal development and build authentic interpersonal connections.

We are looking for a passionate and reliable volunteer to join the HR department as a part time Volunteer

Coordinator/ HR Assistant at Low Entropy Foundation and who values the foundation statement. This volunteer will be doing 80% Coordination and 20% HR related duties. This volunteer will require to volunteer at least 6 hours a week. 100% remote position

This volunteer will be doing the follow tasks

Volunteer Coordination (80%)

Onboarding and interviewing volunteers for the Thrift & Fund store

Answering the volunteer inbox and volunteer inquiries

Assist the Directors with scheduling (if needed)

Advocate for volunteers

Follow up on volunteer’s emails and inquiries

Updating the volunteer master log

Check in meetings with the HR Manager or the Executive Director

Department placement if necessary

Onboarding volunteers through Better Impact

Uploading CRC and agreements

Helping other departments with the on boarding process

HR Assistant (20%)

Attend department meetings when required

Create and attending recruitment fairs

Participate/creating in volunteer engagement activities once a month

Assisting the HR Manager and Executive Director with any organizational needs

Off boarding volunteers

Create rewards and recognition programs

Upload job positions on volunteer platforms

Coordinate volunteers to the right department

Creating and uploading e-learning modules

Qualifications

Proficient using google platforms (gmail, drive etc)

Admin/HR experience is an asset

Passionate and eager learner

Impeccable time management skills and reliable

Detailed oriented.

Communication skills and teamwork

References are required
