SCOPE OF THE JOB
As the national lead, the Technical Training Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing all technical and non-technical training programs as well as operation of training facilities. Your expertise in planning and oversight of successful automotive training programs will support all national functions designed to increase FRFT and CSAT for VinFast Canada. With your proven track record in managing a specialized team, your leadership will be called upon to steer customer satisfaction metrics while maintaining warranty cost reduction targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Analyze and determine training needs as well as recommend new training programs and continuous improvement of existing programs
• Oversee the daily condition of the training facility, vehicles, and tools/equipment as required prior to course delivery and return the environment to its appropriate state once the training is completed
• Support the development and operation of the Technician Certification and Recognition Program
• Oversee the setup of an inventory system for special tools and equipment, vehicles, and technical training materials
• Administer class participant enrollment processes and course completion records, with detailed reporting for Service Centres, headquarters
• Analyze available training communication options, industry trends, and determine best medium for training delivery
• Develop and implement training standards, policies, and procedures to ensure maximum organizational effectiveness
• Develop and implement training strategies, operational plans, and budgets to support FRFT and customer satisfaction targets
• Evaluate effectiveness of technical publications and coordinate improvements based on service center and field input
• Manage course support logistics of conducting training in the mobile/field environment
• Supervise and facilitate the effective delivery of technical and non-technical EV training courses to VinFast service center and head office teams, focused on improving vehicle repair skills and FRFT job performance
• Continuously improve facilitation skills to ensure the delivery, quality and effectiveness of all training courses meet or exceed VinFast standards
• Collaborate with Field Technical Team, Service Facilities & third-party affiliates to develop training, worksheets, and training materials
• Provide subject-matter assistance in the development of training curriculums, training pilots, and train-the-trainer sessions, both technical and non-technical
• Support with other related responsibilities as assigned
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure all training delivery resources are targeted to achieve maximum business results
• Assist in the development of courses to ensure compliance and suitability to Canadian requirements and regulations
• Manage the curriculum design, development, and delivery of training initiatives, including planning and development of training modules, instructional guides, and aids
