Senior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Toronto team. Position Overview:

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating technical implementations for the web, including AI integrations, AEM implementations, and other more complex web development projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and our clients, you will ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting client expectations and driving digital transformation. Your expertise in agile project management, technical acumen, and leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions and fostering innovation within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship to project management team members, fostering professional growth and helping to cultivate a high-performing team.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and technical project management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile team to ensure smooth project execution, aligning technical requirements with client objectives.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among agile project teams, stakeholders and clients, always promoting a culture of innovation & continuous improvement.
• Conduct project meetings, including agile ceremonies, with clear agendas and actionable outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing project roadblocks within an agile framework.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, incorporating agile, SDLC or hybrid-agile methodologies as appropriate, but always embracing agile principles of adaptability and collaboration.
• Effectively track, manage & report on project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient project delivery.
• Lead and manage technical projects, including AI integrations, AEM implementations, and other complex web development projects, from initiation to completion.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, thriving in an agile project management environment.
• Professional certifications such as Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are desirable
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction.
• Minimum 5-7 experience in a project management role, with a focus in technical web development implementations.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Proven experience managing technical projects, including AI integrations, AEM implementations, and other technically complex web development projects.
• Knowledge of technical concepts and tools (ie. machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, cybersecurity).
• Experience managing projects using agile principles, even when the process is not strictly agile.
• Experience participating in the technical solutioning process with the development team. A desire to become an SME on their projects and/or the types of technology their projects touch.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at various levels.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in project management software/tools and collaboration platforms. (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Monday).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including agile, hybrid-agile, and SDLC, with a preference for agile project management frameworks and approaches.
