About the Role
We’re looking for a Training Specialist to join the humm Canada team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Canada, the successful candidate will become a humm product expert and work closely with our Relationship Management team to teach our retail partners how humm works, what humm is, and how humm can benefit their customers.
What Does an Average Day Look Like?
As the humm Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in educating and empowering retailers on the effective use of our purchase financing product. You’ll become a humm product expert, creating and managing all training materials and working with our graphic designer to ensure materials are regularly updated and on brand. You will work closely with the Head of Product to understand new product updates and how they will impact our merchants. You will work 1:1 with our merchants and their staff to explain how humm works and how to talk about humm to their customers. You’ll also develop and execute an online training strategy to help us scale and reach more of our merchants.
About You…
Skills
·Understand how to use a variety of training methodologies, techniques, and concepts to ensure maximum effectiveness of the training program.
·Work closely with merchants and their staff both in-person and virtually, to instruct, troubleshoot, and ensure understanding within retail and clinic locations.
·Establish strong working relationships with merchants to assess training needs, rollout training programs and ensure training materials are kept current.
·Worth closely with product team to understand updates to the product, assist in planning product rollouts with the marketing team.
·Collect and provide feedback to the product team regarding training needs, common issues faced by retailers, and opportunities for product improvement.
·Experience with our target verticals would be an asset: health, veterinary, home improvement, retail or auto.
·Experience building scalable training programs that are engaging and effective.
·Experience with Figma would be nice to have.
·Experience with customer support would be nice to have.

Qualifications
·University or College degree in a related discipline
·2-4 years of experience in a similar role
