Sr. Training Specialist
General Description:
In accordance with all applicable federal, local laws/regulations and Corporate Company policies, procedures and guidelines, this position has the following responsibilities:
Assist LND Manager and Medical LND Specialist in the design and delivery of capabilities workshops, as a co-facilitator and virtual producer
Use established instructional design models (e.g. ADDIE) in a variety of formats (instructor-led, e-learning, blended learning) to support the overall Medical Affairs training strategy.
Ensure ongoing consultation with cross functional SMEs on instructional design and development of learning initiatives.
Recommend and deliver instructional design on Medical LND led initiatives including ppt editing, video editing, script writing, development of job-aids/materials, etc.
Represent the LND team in meetings, provide recommendations, schedule meetings, send communications, manage onboarding logistics, etc.
Qualifications:
Post-Secondary Education is required.
Proficiency in Zoom, TEAMS, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications is required.
Very Strong organization, time management, prioritization and project management skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time are required.
Clear and Engaging presentation and facilitation skills is required.
Experience with virtual production of workshops (polls, breakout rooms, surveys) is required.
Formal training in Instructional Design, with a minimum of 5-year work-related experience is required.
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment is required.
Superior level of attention to detail and critical thinking is required
English language proficiency is required.
Experience with leading capabilities workshops is required.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing across a diverse spectrum of external and internal stakeholders to make recommendations and ensure alignment of learning resources to the medical affairs strategy is required.
Formal training and proficiency on an authoring tool (ex. Articulate, Captivate, or Lectora) is an asset.
Experience with LMS or other learning platforms is an asset.
Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, clinical, banking, transportation, or other regulated industry) is an asset.
Hours:
Contractor will be working in a hybrid mode i.e. 2-3 days/week in the office and the other days from home. This team will be in the office on Tuesdays /Wednesdays/Thursdays until re-assessment. Core business hours (9-5) must be covered. We may also consider potential to working full time from home if needed.
