Are you an experienced Sr. Manager? Have you have successfully worked as the expert technical accounting advisor for organizations? Would you like to work in a new and challenging environment? KORE Wireless, a world leader in IoT Connectivity Solutions is looking to expand the team with a SEC Reporting expert in the role of: Sr. Manager, SEC External reporting.

Reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Accounting and Financial reporting, this critical role is accountable for providing accurate and timely information for the Company’s externally reported financial statements and note disclosures.


Responsibilities Of This Role Include


  • Effectively research, document, and present accounting recommendations for complex business and strategic initiatives, ad hoc and non-routine transactions to management and employees in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Effectively act as the credible technical accounting advisory contact to support the various KORE teams in the accurate application of relevant accounting guidance in new/updated accounting standards, including proving internal training to all levels as required and providing support as required on acquisitions.
  • Stay current on US GAAP accounting standards and SEC Reporting Guidelines i.e., Regulation FD, S-X, S-K, S-T, Staff Accounting Bulletins, Proxy rules, etc. and provide internal training to executives and staff.
  • Support projects and initiatives as
  • Key interface with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Effectively research, document, and present findings on the Company’s technical accounting positions for new/updated accounting standards in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Accurate and timely preparation of 10-K, 8-K, and 10-Q filings in conjunction with the management team, ensuring detailed working papers to support disclosures and SEC filing deadlines are met.
  • Ensure SEC processes and reporting is aligned to meet SOX controls.
  • Leadership – Attract and retain your team through the HR Life cycle [recruitment, onboarding, objectives, and success measures to drive performance development and training, career pathing, offboarding].


Skills, Qualifications And Requirements


  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow-up skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a current CPA/CA designation
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work, think critically, and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously keep current on US GAAP accounting standards and SEC Reporting Guidelines to effectively train others, and ability to update narratives on SOX controls.
  • A team player and self-starter with a very strong capacity to prioritize and manage a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively research, analyze and implement new accounting standards and accounting positions, with exposure to revenue recognition, complex equity arrangements, share based payments and compensation structures, acquisition accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency transactions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel; NetSuite and Workiva experience is an
  • Minimum 7 years of US public technical accounting experience with demonstrated experience with SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively maintain collaborative partnerships within the team and across the organization.
