Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist who will help to hire top talent for our Aliaxis North American companies by sourcing, screening, and discovering unique and creative sourcing strategies. This position is intended to provide a high level of customer service to our in-house Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers by finding quality candidates in a competitive market. The IPEX Sourcing Specialist main responsibilities include using various channels to look for current and future candidates, contacting passive candidates and building a robust talent pipeline.

Principal Responsibilities

• Keep pipeline warm for future opportunities
• Pre-screening candidates
• The ability to balance multiple searches in supporting various plant locations
• Help to craft referral messages to drive employee engagement in referring candidates
• Measure key metrics to ensure we track our sourcing success such as conversion rates, source of candidates, number of candidates you have presented for each role.
• Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. Boolean search)
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to determine position requirements
• Draft engaging messages to attract top candidates
• Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, Local Association/Communities, Facebook)
• Provide strong candidates to the Talent Acquisition team by building a pipeline of top candidates through our data base, researching and sourcing for candidates
• Manage candidate databases (eg. via our Applicant Tracking System)
• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
• Work well in a high paced and high-volume recruitment environment
• Dispositioning large amounts of candidates within our ATS in a timely manner with accuracy
• Be a strong ambassador in promoting our employer brand
• Develop an understanding of IPEX products, plant equipment and people to successfully identify the right people for the job

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certificates

• Boolean Certified (asset)
• Bilingual in French/English is an asset
• BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field (asset)

Technical Skills & Experience

• Have managed multiple sourcing searches for a high-volume environment to support the hiring of 30-40 hires/month
• Excellent time-management abilities
• Mentoring teammates on new ways to deepen their technical sourcing techniques
• Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
• Work with Recruiters to build unique and creative reach outs
• Positive and a drive for results attitude
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in sourcing roles in both Canada and US
• 3-5 years experience in sourcing for manufacturing and/or skilled trades as well as Corporate roles
• Proven work experience as a Sourcer or similar role
• Proven track record of successfully utilizing multiple sourcing strategies to identify outstanding candidates
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Experience implementing creative sourcing methods through multiple channels
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Workday or Workable)
• 3-5 years experience in a sourcing/recruitment role (agency preferred)
