Are you an experienced Researcher, looking to work in a fast growingshopper research agency in a marketing role? We help brands make better shopper marketing decisions by defining and diagnosing the digital and physical behaviors that drive shopper growth.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Explorer Research team, as a Senior Marketing Manager.
In this highly visible role, you will own the full B2B marketing output for the Explorer Research brand.
From creating engaging thought leadership pieces, social media campaigns and blogs, to securing event opportunities which showcase our work, and submitting award entries to celebrate our amazing teams, this is a full and busy internal marketing role. You’ll communicate our shopper behavior proposition both internally and externally, to help support and generate commercial opportunities for the business.
We’re looking for a highly organised self-starter, with a desire to deliver engaging marketing content,and social campaigns. You’ll have great communications skills and a solid understanding of marketing principles combined with a marketing research background.
You will be an expert at conveying Explorer's value proposition and work on all things content - from communications to all forms of digital content including email marketing, eBooks, whitepapers, our corporate blog and all forms of content.
This role is currently based remotely and can remain remote ongoing or you can choose to work from our Toronto office.
Specifically, you will:
- Working with in-house design teams to create on-brand visual media that tells a story and stands out in a crowded marketplace.
- Seek and manage advertising opportunities, secure speaker opportunities for Explorer Research at leading industry events.
- Plan and execute a fully rounded marketing plan.
- Work with the broader marketing team for all social media activity, creating and publishing news and content across all channels and fostering positive engagement.
- Creating and working with client services team members on client case studies and other marketing materials
- Organizing pre-conference outreach to attendees to set up meetings, organize any booth presence and in general help to optimize the ROI on attendance
- Assisting with the digital branding of the company including but not limited to podcasts, video editing, template updates, etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders to curate engaging and relevant content, thought leadership, email marketing campaigns, that drive action from relevant targets and communicate our brand proposition.
- Be responsible for all marketing materials and communications, including digital, email marketing and social media (Twitter, LinkedIn)
- With input from the team, drafting and editing blog posts, press releases, articles, and other marketing content materials.
- Planning and promoting conferences, webinars, and client events including in-person and virtual events.
- Research different trends and turn these insights into thought leadership and reports for a range of different sectors, to drive the growth of the business and establish company reputation.
- Manage the annual events calendar, creating awards entries that stand out from the crowd and lead to nominations and wins.
Requirements:
- You have worked in marketing research and have an understanding of quantitative research including questionnaire design.
- An evolutionary mindset, you’ll be forward thinking and creative, generating out of the box ideas to help our brands stand out in a crowded market.
- You’ll have a sound knowledge of the full marketing mix, including social media, with a proven ability to create content that delivers.
- Knowledge of HubSpot CRM tool, WordPress website platform and MS Suite, with a basic understanding of design principles are ideal but not essential.
- You write and edit well, rapidly, and persuasively
- Ability to write creatively to enable the translation of insights to engage wider audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Have some B2B marketing experience or passion for B2B marketing.
- You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent organisation and project management skills.
- A willingness to learn but also educate – you’ll be a confident presenter.
