About the role:

The Events Marketing Manager will design and develop event experiences to support revenue generation and increase Boast’s brand awareness in Canada and the US. You’ll work with partners, tradeshows, and our internal team to build brand affinity through in-person experiences. You’ll develop creative ideas for engagement, coordinate on-site logistics, and work with partners.

You’ll manage lead generation pre-and post-event and work with the sales team to ensure cohesive experiences for our partners and prospects. Lastly, you’ll manage reporting through Hubspot and Salesforce. Experience autonomously running event strategy is required and knowledge of the Canadian tech ecosystem is a plus.

What you'll do:

• Deploy digital and social tactics to drive buyer engagement before, during and after the event
• Be our in-house authority on audience engagement techniques, platforms, and trends in the industry
• Build event attendance drive-to strategies and follow-up plans for all attendees
• Forecast, measure, and analyze performance using hubspot and salesforce to track revenue generation
• Strategically design event experiences that differentiate Boast and allow organic networking and relationship building between tech leaders and our team
• Own and execute events from ideation to lead follow up, including: research of new opportunities, cost analysis, vendor management, speaker briefing (when applicable), coordination and logistics, and reporting
• Execute event experiences end-to-end with an "on-time, on-strategy, on-budget" mentality and a hands-on approach
• Closely align with the internal marketing and sales team to ensure event tactics are cohesive and align with our broader calendar and campaigns
• Build owned content experiences within each event, ensuring our messaging is woven into each engagement

What you'll need:

• Strong understanding of the Canadian tech ecosystem and the startup lifecycle
• Creativity and initiative to design unique experiences and think outside the box
• Experience with Hubspot and Salesforce a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and team members, and prioritize your time
• Experience in event strategy and planning
