The CAE Civil Marketing and Strategy team is looking for a Senior Manager, Brand & Marketing Communications to help us achieve aggressive growth objectives and to position CAE as a high-tech company in the aviation industry.

Your mission will be to boost our positioning in global markets to increase market share and build loyalty by communicating our messages in an impactful and creative way, supporting the growth of our core business as well as our new adjacencies.

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned and well-rounded leader with experience managing marketing operations and successfully leading a team of marketing communications professional as well as vendors and agencies for a large and global organization.

As a successful candidate, you have a sound knowledge of our business objectives, you demonstrate initiative, you are proactive, highly organized and you can effectively lead up, down, and across. You are also up-to-date with the latest trends in brand strategy, marketing communications, and you love to keep abreast of marketing programs and campaigns across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will coach, inspire, lead and build CAE’s next generation team of marketing communications professionals, located across the globe.
• You will be managing the relationship with our creative agencies, and you will be accountable of the overall marketing communications budget.
• You will manage the relationship with business leaders across CAE’s Civil Aviation group and manage the intake of projects and prioritize them as per the Civil organization’s strategic plan.
• You will oversee the roll-out of our Civil Brand and marketing communications programs and plans as well as the work of marketing communications professionals responsible for branding, advertising and promotion strategy, content marketing, marketing collaterals, creatives, sponsorships for tradeshows and events.
• You will work with Product Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to define and implement B2B and B2C marketing communications programs that will position stronger product and company branding in all the market segments that we serve globally.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing highly efficient marketing operations.
• Experience managing content marketing.
• 10+ years of experience in Marketing Communications (aviation experience is a plus).
• Sound knowledge of marketing communications channels.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or any other related field – combination of relevant experience will be considered.
• A flair for creativity and the ability to connect people to a brand that they will love.
• Experience managing brand presence at airshows, tradeshows, and large events.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills which allow you to lead effectively and influence your stakeholders strategically.
• Experience managing creative agencies, copywriters, and freelancers.
