Job Description

Sych is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Account Manager to join its growing team. As the Senior Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with our existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for account growth. Your expertise in the software development domain, coupled with outstanding communication skills, will be instrumental in driving business expansion and achieving our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with our valued clients. Understand their unique business needs, goals, and pain points, and align our solutions to maximize value.
  2. Account Growth and Retention: Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional software services, ensuring client retention, and contributing to revenue growth.
  3. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategic account plans, outlining growth targets, and action plans for key accounts.
  4. Project Coordination and Delivery: Work closely with internal teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  5. Client Advocacy: Act as a client advocate within the organization, conveying client feedback, needs, and concerns to the appropriate teams to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to clients to help them stay ahead of the competition.
  7. Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties.
  8. Customer Success: Champion customer success initiatives, striving to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and retention.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum Experience: 4+ years of experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the software development, IT services, or technology industry.
  • Team Leadership: Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and handling commercial aspects of client engagements.
  • Relationship Building: Proven track record in building and nurturing strong client relationships, with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of custom software solutions, development methodologies, and emerging technologies to engage in meaningful discussions with clients.
