LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager - EPMO for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
Remote (may require to be on-site when necessary)
Key Tasks
- Provides regular updates and reports for Business owners or other stakeholders
- Applies seasoned expertise of risk management to identify, monitor and mitigate substantial risks, with implications beyond the project
- Uses seasoned experience and knowledge to analyze highly complex problems, interprets business needs, and develop integrated, innovative solutions
- Facilitates groups through complex process design discussions
- Makes decision impacting specific project deliverables, costs, and timelines, which generally have notable impact on other business areas
- Leverages a proven track record in delivery of large, complex projects
Key Qualifications
- Recent and demonstrated experience providing support to an EPMO regarding project and program strategy and planning (I.e. contributing to corporate plans and priorities from and EPMO delivery perspective)
- Recent and demonstrated experience working within business and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO)
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience working with large complex projects managing IT or Business/ operational projects initiatives
Assets
- Experience with lean six sigma
- Experience with large business process operational reviews
- Experience with change management
- PMP or other project manager designation
