Sales Analyst Jobs

The Center of Shared Business Intelligence Analyst I is responsible for providing analytic support for the Acosta CSBI (Center of Shared Business Intelligence) team. This includes supporting internal Acosta driven initiatives including category reviews, new item presentations, scorecards, assortment/shelving, price/promotion and ad-hoc analytics. The CSBI analyst will interact with the Acosta CSBI team and directly with Acosta sales associates relating to successful completion of CSBI projects and initiatives.

Some Essential Functions of this Position:

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Provide data and analysis in support of Acosta CSBI initiatives and projects.
• Participate and support the development of new Acosta CSBI tools and systems.
• Organizes and analyzes data from available data sources including IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, POS data, Nielsen Homescan and others to support Acosta CSBI projects and initiatives.
• As directed, create analysis presentations to support CSBI projects.
• Communicate with Acosta CSBI project directors and Acosta sales associates on status of projects.

Experience Requirement:

Must have college degree or experience in marketing/retail analysis (or previous experience as an Analyst) with specific knowledge of IRI and/or AC Nielsen systems or other data gathering systems and their uses in creating reports preferred.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

1. Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, e-mail, database management, and prefer experience with AC Nielsen NITRO, Spectra, and IRI’s XLerate.

2. Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, telephone and copy machine.

3. Must be able to make presentations coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
